These pads are essential to prevent the knife from sticking to the adhesive side of the film when cutting backwards.
In addition, the TeflonShoes prevent scratching of car paintwork during so-called "accordion cutting".

They offer ideal gliding properties for BodyGuardKnife and LongReach Duo film and backing paper cutters, provided they are not already equipped with a ProTeflon Shoe :-)
