Measuring film lengths quickly & easily

If you want to know how many metres of film are left on the roll, a quick estimate is only of limited help. We have the solution: our MediaMeter!

This measuring tool is very simple to use: Just insert the MediaMeter Star into the core of a film roll and read off the remaining amount of material.

For media up to 300 µm in thickness, the scale is arranged in 10 meter increments. For media of 300 µm and thicker, the scale is arranged in 5 meter increments.

The best thing about the MediaMeter Star is that you can also order an individualised set for exactly the films you use in your workshop.
In addition, the Wings can be ordered and exchanged individually: To do this, simply unscrew the clamping lid, replace or add the piece in the desired film thickness,
and off you go!

Notes on the ordering process and shipping for customised items:

Please send us your data for the MediaMeter Star (8 types). For this, either measure the total thickness of the film incl. backing paper in advance with a caliper gauge, or send us a small piece of the film (smaller than a business card is sufficient!).
Please do not forget to write the name of the respective film on the back of the snippet, as well as the outer diameter of the roll core.

IMPORTANT: The complete order will only be shipped after we have received the samples!

Depending on the actual order situation, we deliver within approx. 1-2 weeks after receipt of the film samples.
