The Yellotools BodyGuardKnife Balancer is a compact add-on grip for our BodyGuardKnife safety knives. It supports a more relaxed hand position while helping you guide the knife more steadily and with greater control.
How Did This Little Lane Assist Come About?
The idea came from our longtime friend, vinyl expert and trainer Rainer Lorz. Instead of guiding the BodyGuardKnife by the handle alone, you place one finger on the Balancer. This allows your hand to rest more comfortably on the knife. At the same time, the Balancer gives you an additional guiding point for more controlled movements while cutting.
Better Balance. More Control.
The real benefit becomes especially noticeable at the glide foot: The changed hand position helps you guide the BodyGuardKnife more smoothly and in a straighter line across the material. The glide foot moves more smoothly and steadily along the cutting line.
For you, that means more control when guiding the knife and a more comfortable hand position – all from a small accessory that's quick and easy to retrofit. The Balancer is made from high-quality plastic and is available in two versions for different generations of BodyGuardKnife models:
