Smooth vinyl application with dedicated squeegee pads
Yellotools YelloWings self-adhesive squeegee pads are designed for applying car wrap vinyls, plotter films, window films, high-gloss and mirror films as well as paint protection films. Depending on the type of film, a different squeegee pad should be used.
Selecting the right material for the particular film is the first step.
Here is an overview of the available variants:
- Felt - felt cover for coarse-pored surfaces such as FOREX
- Micro - Alcantara-like microfiber fabric, designed for many smooth surfaces
- MicroFine - extra-fine microfiber material for sensitive films
- Poly - elastic polymer material, very resilient and durable
- Teflon - increased gliding properties
The next step is to choose the appropriate application method.
We offer two pad thicknesses for this purpose:
- SlimSkin: thin material for more direct contact with the film and more dexterity in car wrapping
- BigBuffer: multi-layer material for wet application of window tinting films, privacy films and decorative films
APE T-Buffer Wings are also available, specifically for wet application of paint protection films (PPF).
